What is the NAMI Basics Education program?
NAMI Basics is a free, six-session education program for parents, caregivers and other family who provide care for youth (age 22 or younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms.
The course consists of six classes, each lasting for 2 ½ hours. Classes may be offered weekly for six consecutive weeks, or may be offered twice per week for three weeks to accommodate the hectic schedules of parents.
All instruction materials are FREE to participants.
About NAMI Basics OnDemand!
NAMI Basics OnDemand is an online course that was developed in response to demand for a conveniently accessible version of NAMI Basics. Just like the in-person course, NAMI Basics OnDemand is geared toward the unique needs of parents and other caregivers of children experiencing mental health conditions.
